Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited was formerly known as Infotel Broadband Services Limited and changed its name to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited in January 2013. The Company is yet to start Commercial Services as on July 2015, and has delayed it's launch for years. They claim to have started testing LTE Services on Band 40 (TD-LTE 2300 MHz) and Band 3 ( FDD-LTE 1800 MHz). On June 12, 2015 Mukesh Ambani confirmed the launch of its 4G services by December 2015,
though previous promises were never honoured.
